Después de su intervención el pasado mes de Septiembre en Dragmania y conseguir tiempo de 7.013 @ 198mph, Don Omar confirma su aparición en las Fall Nationals Sport Compacts 2011 en conjunto con el resto de su equipo de aceleración. El novato corredor quien se prepara para representar a sus amigos del colegio técnico Mech Tech College en carácter de piloto de uno de sus nuevos proyectos confirmo atravez de la cuenta de su equipo en Twitter @HARacingTeam que asistirá a esta edición 2011 del mencionado evento.

“Ya mi equipo esta listo, esta semana nos metemos al taller nuevamente a darle un chequeo de rutina a las maquinas. En mi caso tuve que reparar la transmisión después de mi ultimo Tire Shake enfrentandome amistosamente a uno de los pilotos de la escuderia Mech Tech. Problemas con la programación de nuestro sistema de turbinas tambien seran corregidos esta semana y estoy super confiado que la combinacion de TONY PERFORMANCE, ISAIAS ROJAS, HNOS. LE HARDY, OSO TECH Y este servidor sean una vez mas la que nos brinde las mejorias notables cada vez que salgo a los 1320 pies.

Uno de los primeros reguetoneros boricuas que dio de qué hablar con sus temas “5 de septiembre” y “Bomba para afincar”, Vico C, regresa a Panamá para ser parte de la final de Muévelo.

“El filósofo del rap”, como también se le conoce, llega la tarde del lunes para promover sus nuevos éxitos.

La final de Muévelo será entre La Chorrera, Colón y Las Cumbres, y tendrá como sedes el Centro Comercial Los Andes, Plaza Italia en La Chorrera y Plaza Milenio en Colón.

In early April, Game filmed the video for his new single ‘Red Nation’ in downtown Los Angeles, describing the shoot as “a real rebel scene,” and just a month later, both MTV and BET have decided to ban the controversial video.

Game took to Twitter to rant about the new ban on Monday night (May 9), writing, “So BET “BANNED” the #REDNation video !!!!! Said me & @liltunechi were too gang affiliated in it. Thoughts?”

He seemed to be in good humor about the situation, adding, “This just in: the video so HARD it just got ‘BANNED’ from MtV too ha ha ha ha….F— IT !!!! I’m [sic] premering it on Thursday online MYSELF!!!” He then proceeded to list outlets where the video could still be viewed. “Guess ya single gotta be called ‘Bubble Gum’ to get love ha ha ha….#REDNation premiering on AOL, Vivo & Worldstar Thursday.#bannedFromTV. Who needs the they tube when you got “YOUTUBE.com,” Game wrote. “They banned ‘ONEBLOOD’ then soon as it got over 1,000,000 views on YouTube they jumped on the sack.”

Game previously detailed the new video to the BoomBox, describing how director Parris brought a “Puff Daddy”-like clip to life.

“We got to the video and this dude has stuff like he was shooting a video for Puff Daddy; it was lights, fire, crazy looking costumes, it was crazy!” Game told the BoomBox. “We end up doing the first scene, which is me against the wall and 100 hundred people behind the gate going crazy with this red light; it looks like a riot and it’s crazy. I’m trying to deliver my lines and these people are trying to break the gate and get at me; it felt real, so that’s how I knew it was going to be classic.”

Shortly after filming the visuals for ‘Red Nation,’ the California rapper embarked on a trip to Canada to perform a series of shows, but was detained at the border. As usual, Game tweeted the mishap before having his electronics confiscated.

Game’s fourth LP, ‘The R.E.D. Album,’ is scheduled to hit stores this summer.

Kanye West’s line of limited edition silk scarves, which he has produced in collaboration with Parisian design duo Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag of M/M, has finally arrived in stores in Paris today (May 9).

The scarves, depicting artist George Condo’s controversial cover art for Kanye’s 2010 opus ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,’ which M/M designed the album packaging for, are available in five different editions of 100, referencing the album’s themes, ‘Power,’ ‘Phoenix,’ ‘Face,’ ‘Ballerina’ and the ‘Priest.’

“During the creative process, M/M (Paris) created a series of hand drawn ornamented frames to adorn the Condo paintings,” M/M said in their press release regarding the collaboration. “The design team decided to use the most striking combinations of the paintings and the frames, and transform them into silk scarves.”

The scarves are printed on 100% silk twill, adorned with gold lettering and sell for $364 exclusively at renowned Paris boutique Colette and M/M (Paris)’s online store.
